15 things I do to guard my space that have brought joy to my life…

Heads up, there are some affiliate links throughout this post. I have not been asked to promote any of the tools, resources or products, but I do receive dolla' dolla' bills when you use my links, so thanks! I never post links to anything I do not fully trust or haven't used myself.

  1. Turned off all phone notifications, badges and sounds for everything except phone calls. (yes, even my text message notifications are silenced)

  2. Turned off all computer notifications, badges and sounds

  3. Shutting my phone off after dinner

  4. Spending the first hour of the day without picking up my phone (are you seeing a trend here?)

  5. Morning and evening routines

  6. Meditation

  7. Purging anything that drains instead of adding value to my life (including but not limited to things, people, habits and mindsets)

  8. Practice whole self-care

  9. Verbalizing boundaries (ie: That doesn’t work for me. I’m unavailable right now. Could you/ would you be willing to take that to another room?)

  10. Unsubscribed to newsletters and emails

  11. Block off time on my calendar as unavailable

  12. Ditched the purse and all the “just in case” stuff that went in it

  13. Went paperless

  14. Put bills on autopay (two things that were a HUGE facilitator in getting here were YNAB and Dave Ramsey)

  15. Having a space just for me that I don’t share with my family

Have anything that you practice to add to the list that brings you joy? Share it in the comments below!

Xx,
